The following photos were taken during an editorial shoot for Eckart Witzigmann’s 70th birthday for the gourmet magazine “Seasons”.

In 1979 his restaurant “Aubergine” in Munich was the first German restaurant to be awarded three stars in the 1980 Michelin Guide.
He received two stars in the Michelin Guide for the Tantris in Schwabing.
In 1994 Gault-Millau awarded him the Chef of the Century award.
